Day 1. Transfer to hotel- City tour

We will take you to iconic places and sightseeings that must be visited:
Republic Square- Northern Avenue-The Opera and Ballet Theater – The Swan Lake- The French Square-
The Cascade (“The stairway to heaven”)- The Victory Park
During a tour you will have a chance to get acquainted with the rich culture and history of Yerevan.
You will see how the oldest city in the world (the date of birth of Yerevan – 782 B.C.) has become one of
the prosperous cities of the 21st century.
*can be included- The Blue Mosque is the only surviving mosque in Yerevan. It dates back to the 18th
century when Armenia was still a part of Persia.


Day 2. Yerevan- Echmiatsin (St. Hripsime, St. Gayane, Mother Cathedral)-Zvartnots

We will start our tour by visiting St. Hripsime church which is a seventh-century Armenian Apostolic church
and one of the oldest surviving churches in the country. The church was erected by Catholicos Komitas to replace
the original mausoleum built by Catholicos Sahak the Great in 395 AD that contained the remains of the martyred
Saint Hripsime to whom the church is dedicated. The current structure was completed in 618 AD. Our next spot
will be another 7th-century church of St. Gayane. After, you will be able to observe the first world’s first Christian
Cathedral – the Holy Echmiadzin, built in 301-304. On our way back to Yerevan we will have a stop at the
beautiful temple of Zvartnots which is also dated to 7th century.


Day 3. Yerevan-Alphabet monument-Amberd-Yerevan

Our first stop will be at the Alley of Armenian Alphabet, and of course, you can snap a picture with the first
letter of your name. It is a monument of 39 giant, carved Armenian letters, strategically placed near the final
resting place of the man who created the alphabet, Mesrop Mashtots.
The next destination is the Amberd fortress dated to the 10th century, located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft)
above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats – the highest peak in Armenia. The name translates to “fortress
in the clouds” in Armenian.
At 3,190 meters above the sea level, you will visit Lake Kari (Stone Lake) which was mostly formed by ice
and snow.


Day 4. Yerevan- Tsaghkadzor -Sevan-Dilijan-Haghartsin

Welcome to the “the gorge of flowers”. That’s how translated Tsaghkadzor from Armenian. You will have a
special experience by visiting here, you’ll travel dense mountain forests, breath fresh air and also can have a trip
on the ropeway.
Tsaghkadzor has become Armenia’s ski center during the winter months, where tourists from all over the
world come to enjoy winter activities.
Then, we will visit Sevan, where we will be admired with the Armenian Blue-eyed Beauty-Lake Sevan. It is
the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude
(alpine) lakes in Eurasia.
The next destination is Dilijan which usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the
locals. It is one of the most important resorts of Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. The forested
and reclusive town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some
traditional Armenian architecture. The Sharambeyan street in the center has been preserved and maintained as
an “old town”, complete with craftsman’s workshops, a gallery, and a museum.Haghartsin is a 13th-century monastery (built between the 10th and 13th centuries) located near the town
of Dilijan. In 2011, Haghartsin Monastery underwent a major renovation by Armenia Fund with a donation from HH
Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.


Day 5. Yerevan-Khor Virap-Areni (wine tasting)- Birds cave -Noravank-Jermuk-Yerevan

We will start our tour visiting Khor Virap(meaning «deep dungeon») which is one of the most popular
tourist destinations in Armenia. It stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular
view of the mountain, the national symbol of Armenia.
Wine is a divine key that opens the gates of a human heart and soul. During this excursion, we will travel
to the south through the vast plains of Ararat to visit a wine factory in Areni Village. After tasting a glance of wine,
we will continue a tour to Areni cave (Bird’s Cave). In 2008, archeologists discovered several of the world’s oldest
artifacts, including a leather shoe and a winery.
The next stop is Noravank- one of the gems of medieval Armenian architecture, nestled high among the
stunning brick-red cliffs at the end of the Gnishik Canyon.
Jermuk – Jermuk is known for its hot springs and mineral water brands bottled in the town. It is attractive
for its fresh air, waterfall, artificial lakes, walking trails, the surrounding forests, and mineral water pools. The town
is being redeveloped to become a modern center of tourism and health services. It is also being set up to become
a major chess center, with numerous chess international tournaments scheduled in the town.
Jermuk’s waters are widely recognized as a treatment for numerous illnesses. The town is unique with its
fantastic waterfall, which is sometimes called Mermaid Hair.


Day 6. Yerevan-Shaki waterfall-Carahunge- Khndzoresk (Swinging bridge)-Tatev-Yerevan

This trip is one of the longest daily tours, and it’s definitely worth it.
Shaki waterfall is a very amazing beautiful waterfall with exquisting beauty really amazed at the beautiful
view. On our way to Tatev, we will have a stop in this incredible place, where you can feel the human and nature
Then we will go to explore one of the most mystical spots on our planet-one of the most ancient
observatories in the world – Carahunge, the Armenian Stonehenge, which is a whopping 2500 years older than
the world famous Stonehenge.
After, we will take you to a memorable journey to Tatev, where you will discover not only an ordinary
bridge but also an ordinary village! This mysterious swinging bridge will take you to an amazing trip from old
Khndzoresk to a New Khndzoresk. You will have a chance to stop along the way to catch your breath and take
amazing pictures of the cliffside dwellings.
At the end, a new amazing experience is waiting for you-“Tatever” which is the longest reversible
cableway in the world (5752 m), recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. During your ride, you will enjoy
aspectacular view over one of the most beautiful spots in Armenia (if not in the world). Here you will see the
Harsnadzor Watchtower and Devil’s Bridge, which is a natural viaduct formed on the river.

The Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau
near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. The term “Tatev” usually refers to the
monastery. The monastic ensemble stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River. Tatev is known as
the bishopric seat of Syunik and played a significant role in the history of the region as a center of economic,
political, spiritual and cultural activity.


Day 7 . Yerevan-Charent’s Arch -Garni-Geghard-Yerevan

At one of the passes right by the road to Garni is the Arch of Charents. We will have a short stop here as
only from here opens a breathtaking view of the Ararat valley with Ararat soaring on the horizon. You cant leave
Armenia missing this spectacular view of Ararat-the Symbol of Armenia. Having a photo with the Ararat
background is a must.
Then, our tour will take you to travel between pre-Christian and Christian Armenia. Garni temple is the only
pegan temple in Armenia and the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. The greek-roman
bathhouse with the mosaic, made out of 30,000 pieces of natural stones, as well as the ruins of the royal palace,
will take you to 3rd century A.D.
We will have a master class of Armenian national lavash baking.
From here we will continue our tour to Geghard, which means “spear” from Armenian translation. It is a
medieval monastery, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a
UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.


Day 8 . Yerevan – Vernissage-GUM-free day

How you can back home without souvenirs? So, The best place to shop for them is the Vernissage
market. It’s kind of an open-air museum, as here you can find all Armenian traditional items that you could ever
imagine. Most of the items here are handmade and include jewelry, woven rugs, purses, clothes, toys, and vintage
items, just to name a few.
After the traditional souvenirs market, we will go to another market. In summer, here you can see how
radiant peaches, cherries, apricots, and berries decorate the stalls. Dried fruits and nuts are found year-round,
including strings of syrup-coated walnuts known as sujukh (foreigners called it Armenian snickers). There are also
veggies, herbs, basturma (cured ham) and blocks of cheese. Come hungry as vendors give samples.


Day 9. transfer to airport
