Day 1/Yerevan

Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.  Meet and greet by the Best Tour representative. Transfer to the hotel. Have a leisure day in one of the most beautiful cities in the world –Yerevan is also known as a Pink City. In the evening take an opportunity to have a night tour in the Republic Square, accompanied by singing fountains and the beautiful panoramic scene of downtown. Late in the evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2/ Yerevan City Tour (Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park, Matenadaran, Ararat Brandy Factory, Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, Megerian Carpet)

After breakfast at the hotel, start a city tour from Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park opened to the public in 2019 and dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan. After continuing the tour to Republic Square to Armenia, walk down in the most modern North Avenue and reach the unique building of Opera house. After visit Matenadaran. It is s a museum, repository of manuscripts, and a research institute in Yerevan. Later visit the Ararat brandy factory to get acquainted with its history and enjoy the taste of Armenian brandy. After the move to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, who were massacred in 1915 organized by Young Turks of the Ottoman Empire. In the evening visit the most traditional place of Yerevan – Megerian Carpet to master carpet weaving and traditional dish making (optional*). Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan. 

Day 3/Yerevan-Garni- Geghard – Tsaghkadzor –  Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour by visiting the only remaining pagan temple of Armenia – Garni. Near the temple in a very traditional setting have master classes of Lavash baking and Duduk master classes (optional*) – an Armenian traditional reed woodwind instrument made of apricot wood. Later visit Geghard Monastery. This monastery was originally named Ayrivank having the meaning “the Monastery of the Cave” is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. Further, the tour continues to Tsaghkadzor, a mountain resort in Armenia famous for its slopes. It is a popular resort for winter sports. Also, it is a beautiful retreat, residing on the slopes of Mount Teghenis. Have a tour through Tsaghkadzor, visit Kecharis Monastery and take the ropeway (optional*) to the top of the mountain to enjoy a beautiful panoramic scene of Armenian highlands. In case of desire try cableway Zipline Tsaghkadzor(optional*). In the evening return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 4/Yerevan- Lake Sevan – Sevanavank – Dilijan – Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, a trip to Lake Sevan, the highest freshwater lake in the world. One has not visited Armenia if he has not been to Sevan. Visit “Black Pearl” of Armenia – Sevanavank Monastery (9th century). In the case of desire, fish tasting can be organized. (optional*). Then move to the “Green Queen” Dilijan, also known as a Little Switzerland. It is especially beautiful in Autumn with colorful leaves in the dense forests. Find hidden-in-the-forest Haghartsin Monastery (13th monastery). After this memorable day return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 5/ Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.  Free time. Check out & transfer to the airport.
