destinations in Armenia. It stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat offering a spectacular view of the
mountain, the national symbol of Armenia.
Wine is a divine key that opens the gates of a human heart and soul. During this excursion, we will travel
to the south through the vast plains of Ararat to visit a wine factory in Areni Village. After tasting a glance of wine,
we will continue a tour to Areni cave (Bird’s Cave). In 2008, archeologists discovered several of the world’s oldest
artifacts, including a leather shoe and a winery.
The next stop is Noravank- one of the gems of medieval Armenian architecture, nestled high among the
stunning brick-red cliffs at the end of the Gnishik Canyon.
Jermuk – Jermuk is known for its hot springs and mineral water brands bottled in the town. It is attractive
for its fresh air, waterfall, artificial lakes, walking trails, the surrounding forests, and mineral water pools. The town
is being redeveloped to become a modern center of tourism and health services. It is also being set up to become

fantastic waterfall, which is sometimes called Mermaid Hair.

letter of your name. It is a monument of 39 giant, carved Armenian letters, strategically placed near the final
resting place of the man who created the alphabet, MesropMashtots.
The next destination is the Amberd fortress dated to the 10th century, located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft)
above sea level, on the slopes of MountAragats – the highest peak in Armenia. The name translates to “fortress
in the clouds” in Armenian.
At 3,190 meters above the sea level, you will visit Lake Kari (Stone Lake) which was mostly formed by ice
and snow.

Day 5 . Yerevan – Vernissage-GUM-transfer to airport

How you can back home without souvenirs? So, The best place to shop for them is the Vernissage
market. It’s kind of an open-air museum, as here you can find all Armenian traditional items that you could ever
imagine. Most of the items here are handmade and include jewelry, woven rugs, purses, clothes, toys, and vintage
items, just to name a few.
After the traditional souvenirs market, we will go to another market. In summer, here you can see how
radiant peaches, cherries, apricots, and berries decorate the stalls. Dried fruits and nuts are found year-round,
