Winter Magic

Day 1/Yerevan

Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.  Meet and greet, transfer to the hotel. Have a leisure day in one of the most beautiful cities in the world –Yerevan is also known as a Pink City. In the evening take an opportunity to have a night tour in the Republic Square, accompanied by singing fountains and the beautiful panoramic scene of downtown. Late in the evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2/ City Tour (Yerevan 2800th Anniversary Park, History Museum of Armenia, Parajanov Museum,  Ararat Brandy Factory, Megerian Carpet)

After breakfast at the hotel, start a city tour from Yerevan 2800^th Anniversary Park opened to the public in 2019 and dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan.  After the History Museum of Armenia situated in the Republic Square.  It is regarded as Armenia’s national museum and has a national collection of 400,000 objects. Drive to Parajanov Museum, known as the house-museum of one of the greatest Armenians – Parajanov. After the continuing tour in Ararat Brandy factory, where taste Armenian brandy, with its unique smell. In the evening have a welcome dinner in one of the most traditional restaurants in Yerevan – Megerian Carpet, where also have a tour and master class of carpet weaving. Late in the evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 3/Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Tsaghkadzor. Visit the Kecharis Medieval Complex. If desired, try Tsaghkadzor ropeway to admire the surrounding from the top of Teghenis Mountain. Later leisure time and snow activities in Tsaghkadzor.

Day 4/Tsaghkadzor

Օր 5/ Tsaghkadzor – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan

After breakfast at the hotel start the tour by visiting the only remaining pagan temple of Armenia – Garni. Near the temple in a very traditional setting have master classes of lavash baking, pottery and dried fruit making (optional*). After this unforgettable cultural experience transfer to medieval Geghard Monastery.  The monastery originally named Ayrivank having the meaning “the Monastery of the Cave” is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. Later return to Yerevan. Visit Vernisaj for shopping (optional*).  Also visit “Old Bazaar” which is now the modern supermarket, where you can find eatable souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Day 6/Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
